Why Search Engine Optimization Matters
If you are trying to make a living online, then your website is your source of income. Without proper search engine optimization-or SEO-you might as well be flipping burgers at the local fast food joint, because you will make more money there. 85% of people find the things they buy online through search engines which is why it is vitally important that you get a high search engine ranking. Trying to run an online business without good SEO or search engine optimization would be like trying to run a brick and mortar store out of a plain brick building without any signs. You might be lucky enough to get an occasional straggler walking in, but masses of people are never going to find you. SEO is that important. If you don’t have a plan in place to get traffic online, you’re just not going to get visitors to your site. And the search engines are a big part of getting traffic online (not the only, but one of the best if you want long-term traffic that you don’t have to pay for).
So, how do you get a better search engine ranking? Mostly, you will get a better search engine ranking by building a better website. Now, this doesn’t mean that it has to be fancier, prettier, or more high tech-sometimes those things can actually work against you-but it has to have better content along with good functionality. The search engines’ robots don’t care how pretty your fonts are or what colors you use on your website (these things may affect your conversion rate, however, so this is not to suggest they don’t matter at all), but they do care about the words on your website. You see, the search engines use complicated algorithms to determine whether a site is providing high-quality content on their websites.
How does a robot know if your content is high-quality? They judge your SEO content by a couple of factors. They check to see if your keywords match your page’s subject and how many times you use them. Too many can get you blacklisted as it will appear that you are just trying to get a ranking by using a keyword over and over. Too few and you won’t get ranked for that keyword at all. SEO articles must provide a delicate balance between informing and entertaining the viewer and providing the right density of keywords in order to achieve proper search engine optimization for your website. And your content needs to be “fresh”.
The same old SEO article left there for a year may pull in good search engine rankings in the beginning, but suddenly you website will disappear almost entirely off the radar.
Proper SEO can take some time and effort to learn, but the good news is that there are plenty of companies that can do it for you for a very low fee. Whatever the charge is will be well worth it in the end because you will be able to make a lot of money with your search engine optimized site.

Getting a Top Search Engine Ranking - Pipe Dream or Possibility?
Earning a top search engine ranking almost guarantees that you will make a lot of sales and earn a ton of money, but there are sometimes thousands or even hundreds of thousands of other websites competing for the same type of products and services so how can you possibly hope to rise to the top? The answer is lies with search engine optimization.
Search engine optimization, or SEO, works by optimizing your website for certain keywords or phrases. You put these words and phrases within your content and meta tags. You also need to start a link building campaign. Between both this onsite and offsite optimization, you’ll start to see your rankings in the search engines go higher and higher. And you’ll receive more and more traffic all the while. It’s not really all that complicated to achieve high rankings, but you do have to put in the effort. The nice thing is, you’ll keep getting more top rankings and you can build on your existing traffic.
The website with the most unique, fresh, high-quality content and the right density of the right keywords or keyword phrases is usually the one that wins.
So, how do you come up with this unique, fresh, high-quality content that contains the right density of the right keywords? You can study the subject yourself and learn the hard way through plenty of trial and error or you can hire some professionals and get the job done right the first time. One way to do this is to hire an SEO company and let them analyze your site and make the recommendations and changes needed to get your website up to par. They will provide the unique content based on their own keyword analysis. This is easiest as it can take lots of long hours to write all the content you will need to boost your site to the top of the search engines.
Another possibility is to find the keyword analysis software on the internet and conduct your own search. After determining the best keywords to give you high results you can hire an SEO article freelancer or purchase from an SEO article company. These people are experts in SEO and can write unique keyword rich articles for you on a regular basis for a low fee so that you keep your content fresh and your costs down as well. You can also purchase articles for article marketing and pay to have them placed in directories. These tactics are sure to increase your search engine rankings and bring more money in to your site.
The idea of earning a top search engine ranking is more than just a pipe dream, it is something you can set as a goal and achieve with the right search engine optimization techniques. And the nice thing is that the more effort you put into optimizing your website, the higher it will rank in the search engines. Over time, this will start bringing in more and more traffic. Whether you choose the “learn as you go do-it-yourself” plan or hire some professionals, when you get it right you will start to see results.

Search Engine Optimization-what is the Need for Search Engine Ranking?
Ever since the Internet was launched commercially in 1988, the World Wide Web has been inundated with billions of websites being launched. A majority of Internet users rely on Google, the worlds foremost Search Engine, when looking for information, products, research, etc. Google lists the sites in Search Engine Results Page (SERPs) according to the keyword/phrase that the user enters in the search box. The listings in the SERPs are from websites listed in the Google database. Google does not list the sites arbitrarily, and there is a method to this madness of search engine Ranking. Ranking for a website in SERPs is achieved with proper Search Engine Optimization. It does not help a business if the website is listed on the nth page of SERPs as searchers normally find what they are looking for in the first three pages of listing, or abandon the search after a few pages. Therefore it is essential for a website and business to be ranked and listed in the first three pages for keywords/phrases related to their websites and which searchers use.
Every website owner dearly wants their site listed on the first page of Google Search results and even aspires to be number one in the SERPs for particular keywords/phrases that are searched, or presume to be searched by users. But it is not possible for every one of the millions of sites that are listed in Search Engine results for a keyword/phrase to be listed on the first page or for every site to be number one. It is possible, however, to optimize a website according to Search Engine Optimization guidelines, principles, and Google guidelines, and achieve Search Engine Ranking for a website for particular keywords/phrases that are used in searches. Keyword Research for search terms is the first crucial and essential step towards optimization. It is useless to optimize a website for keywords/phrases that are not used by searchers or are searched very sparingly.
It is important to understand that ranking for keywords/phrases and listing in SERPs on the first page or at number one position cannot be achieved in a day, a week or a month, and requires continuous and regular SEO to achieve and maintain search engine ranking. Ranking depends on the website design, keywords, competing websites, PageRank of the website and competing websites, number of back links, On-Page Optimization parameters, page content, and many other essential parameters. It is also essential to understand that Google uses a complex algorithm to rank individual pages, and not whole websites in SERPs, and considers millions of parameters for a web page. Only Google knows what those parameters are exactly, but Search Engine Optimization Experts and Specialists are aware of many of these parameters through years of analysis and use of Optimization techniques, and can rank a web page, or many pages of a website for keywords/phrases.
Some of the parameters to achieve Search Engine Ranking are keyword research, On-Page Optimization of website pages with keywords/phrases, page content optimization with keywords/phrases, and Off-Page Optimization with link building. Link building or acquiring Back Links is very important for your web pages. Back Links to your website pages from web pages with content related to your web page, or even from sites with unrelated content, but with high PageRank, is beneficial. But care has to be taken to ensure that these Back Links from pages with unrelated content are not from “Bad Neighborhood” sites like gambling, casinos, online pharmacies, or sex and porn related sites. The Quality of the Back Link is more important than the Quantity of the Back Links. It is just like having a few good friends instead of a hundred or a thousand casual acquaintances, or not so loyal friends, or friends with a bad background. After all, your reputation and stature in society depends on the company you keep. The same principle applies to your website in Search Engine Optimization.

Which one is better to get better search engine ranking?
Im making my first website and was wondering, which one is will get better search rankings
1.Making a website in photoshop
2.Making a website with html codes and css
If I make a website in photoshop but put in quality content and good keywords will i still get good search engine ranking?
Does content still determine the search engine ranking if you use drag and drop software or any type of program/software?
It doesn’t matter what you put in your website as long as it contains the keywords most people search for…
Your website will only be ranked if it is searched, and it will only be searchable if you paid your host for it…
If you paid for it, search engines will lookup for your website’s "keyword" header, and if it matches with the keyword of the user is searching for, you get the ‘hit’ for the rankings…
Good luck!
