currently my home page is on the bottom of the 1st page of all the search engines to move it up higher on the first page will adding more pages to the overal site do anything or do i have to work with the home page only by either adding more content or working w/ my keywords and do some seo to the main page only….

it would be nice if i could just add a few more pages and have my ranking for my home page go up but is this the case or not?

Improving the keywords in your content might not have an effect. Google, for one, counts how many quality links are linking to your site and uses that and a bunch of other stuff to determine ranking. I’d do two things: get people to link to your site using verbose pages and like you said, add more content to your site.
